Is the pain in my lower calves due to blockage of those veins or is it a blockage in the femoral artery?
Advice on femoral arteries and do they cause pains in the lower limbs if blocked?

It can be caused by one or both, numbness in the thighs is usually associated with blockage in the femoral artery, You need to have you Dr. set you up for a sonagram or doppler to give you a better idea of where and how much blockage you could have. Without definative test it could be something all together different, could be nerve related
