Do Elevated Blood Sugar Levels Cause Redness And Pain In The Penis?
I am diabetic since last 2 yrs. My blood sugar used to be in 120 pre and 150 post. I was adviced Glycipage SR 500 one tab daily after breakfast. Till recently my sugar levels in random was 170. Last 4 days back it was 255. Today I checked random and pre breakfast was 140 and post was 290. I also have thickness in tip of penis which is burning and penis too has become red. Is it due to increase in blood sugar levels.
Elevated blood sugar may lead to urinary yeast infection lead to mastitis or balanitis. So please get control your blood sugar under your doctor advice.
Use Candid B gel locally twice a day for five days. Get it done urine examination and microscopy. If symptoms not improved please consult your physician he will examine and treat you accordingly.
