Do Clots In Brain Cause Tremors In Mouth?
my gran had a stroke 6 days ago and was doing really well in hospital with the stroke she lost her speech but every day she was doing better are talking she also couldnt eat or drink as it was going into her lungs and not her stomch but for the past 2 days my gran has got so much worse she had a blood clot in the brain that caused the stroke they gave her a drug to scatter the blood clot on the first day of the stroke and told us my gran had a 50/50 chance in the next six hours but now my gran is taking what looks like a tremor in the mouth every 20 minutes her mouth hangs down at the left had side she cant control it her teeth fall out her mouth and she cant speech after it she also gets very tierd after it it takes alot out of her and about 2 or 3 minutes before the next 1 she tries to talk to us but it just happens again could you please help me what do you think it is could it be mini strokes or do you think the blood clot is still in the brain

Thank you for your question . I am sorry for your grandma.
As I understand from what you say that your grandma suffered from a repeated brain stroke 2 days ago, and thrombolysis has been used in the first hours after that.
The symptoms you have described are a consequence of this stroke ( the damage that the blood clot has caused to the brain tissue). You should understand that the brain tissue is very sensitive to blood hypo perfusion. Its not a matter of blood clot any more .
In my opinion all the symptoms you describe could be related another disorder called Partial Epilepsy , caused by the stroke .
A brain EEG would be helpful in this situation to exclude a Vascular Epilepsy.
It may also be caused by repeated Transient ischemic attacks, but this is less probable. A heart problem causing embolism to the brain and a Cervical artery disease should be excluded too . But I think as she is being treated in the hospital , she is probably taking antiagregants ( to prevent this) .
