Do Braces Prevent Damage Caused By Osteopenia And Arthritis?

I have been having lower back pain and recent x ray shows dextroscoliosis of the thoracolumbar junction. Also have Osteopenia of the spine and hips and degenreative arthritis of the neck as well as a bulging disk. I will be going to PT but wondering best exercise plan for all of these as I am proactive in my treatment and care and not so much for meds. ANy suggestions and would a brace be beneficial to prevent further damage as I love to ballroom dance and I also ice skate. (competitively in my younger days) My age 50 and I have hashimotos, fgerretin deficiency (iron infusions 1x annually) Vit D Deficiency, Reynauds, Gallbladder removal, Endometrial Ablation, IBS, Celiac Disease and many other allergies. Neurocardiogenic Syncope, Postprandial Hypotension. and probably a few others I am forgetting.

No. Braces are given to support spine for very transient period to give relief to pain if it is not relieved by medication only. Complete bed rest for a certain period of time is the initial mode of treatment in low back pain. Pain can be controlled by medication, exercise, weight reduction, lifestyle modification etc.
take paracetamol 1 gm twice or thrice daily as required initially for some days.
for osteoporosis you have to take risedronate 35 mg once weekly after consultation with a doctor.
