Do Almonds Reduce Cholesterol?

Recently I read that almonds are good for diabetic patients, also it helps in reducing cholesterol. Is it true ? Also is there any other nuts which is recommended for diabetics as well as good for cholesterol. Also is almonds good for BP patients? Thanks in advance for your reply.

Consumption of almonds increases vitamin E levels in the plasma and red blood cells and also lowers cholesterol levels.

The other benefits of soaking almonds in water also include its use in the prevention of cancer, diabetes, inflammation and stomach disorders.
