Hello dear
Understand your concern.
There is some miscommunication. Medroxyprogesterone acetate is a progesterone hormone. It is not used for abortion. It is used for delayed period, contraception, maintain pregnancy, for endometriosis, for induced bleeding in amenorrhea.
So it may be given for induced bleeding.
Fr abortion mifepristone followed by misoprostol should be used under the guidance of gynecologist.

Hope this may help you
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
