Do I Shave My Arms At The Age Of 13?

I was just curious, but do u shave your arms? I wanted to, but my mom wont let me. she says it makes the hair grow back longer. (ps. im 13) DO u shave your arms?

Shaving any body part does not make the hair grow back thicker. The razor leaves a sharp edge on the hair. The rough/sharp edge of the hair makes it feel thicker.
