Do I need to use any creams or surgery for scar occurred by stitches on my forehead ?

Hello, I got a scar occurred by stitches on my forehead since my 5 years old . It like 5mm long but the problem its that is not a flat scar, Its a bit deep and i wonder if that happened due to bad stitches or bad removal of them and how i can improve it make it less noticeable ? Do i have to use any creams or something like that ? Or a surgery is the best solution ? Please advice me what it would be better for me because its so annoying to have a scar on your forehead ;/ Thank you in advance

Dear Alex ! Thank you for choosing health care magic. I agree partially with you in terms of types of stitches. Most of the times it is because of skin nature and types of stitches. If they are annoying you cosmetically consider visiting a plastic surgeon. Based upon the examination he can advise you the best possible option.

Hi!Alex ,
Welcome To HealthcareMagic forum,

Alex, you have nicely described your scar, that makes my job easy.
Since its a depressed linear scar ,what you need is just to get it raised .You have three options here -
1) Lasers ,likes Erbium or co2 laser resurfacing ,which would gradually raise the scar by collagen re modelling.Multiple sessions might be required to get desired result.
2) By Collagen Fillers - like restylane or perlane. These are tiny injections which are given over the spot to raise the lesion. This would give you nearly 100% result ,but would be temporary . Depending upon where you live ,if you can get a permanent filler ,then it would give you a long lasting effect.
3) Get a fat transplantation done over the area .This again would give you good result.
So,you should meet a dermatologist and see what all facilities he has and how much experienced he is in giving these injections pr lasers.

I hope this would help you find a good competent dermatologist and select a good option for yourself.

regards,
Dr.chawda

Hello my name is leah, I just had some stitches in my upper lip 3days ago. I lacerated it a over a year ago and it did not heal to its proper shape- I was left with a droopy look. I am wondering how to take care of the stitches. Stitches are looking black and it is getting crusty and scabbly on the lower side. I clean it with warm water with a drop of lavender oil few times a day- is this ok? should I keep it moist with creams all the time? sorry, just one more.. can I start using rosehip oil to minimise scarring ? Thank you for your time, Leah

I had Moh s surgery to remove basal cell cancer on my forehead. My doctor used dissolvable stitches. As they were dissolving, the would split apart and I now look like I did not receive any stitches. I am having some difficulty healing. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

So, basically, the other day my girlfriend & I were unergoing some sexual beheviour (She was quite vigeriously giving me a handjob) but it all felt fine, yeah. But I ve never actually stretched my foreskin back myself, whereas from her force, she managed to get it back quite some way.Since this (Yesterday, 17 hours ago) my foreskin has come back up, but only, this time it isn t completely covering my bellend, whereas it was before. 90% is covered, but the very top is visable, as if the foreskin is too.. floopy , or loose to cover my bellend back up again. It is literally just a circle shape at the top of my penis, and that is the only part which isn t covered up, but I feel like it should be. I m not really sure what to do/If I should be worried.I m 16 and not circumcised.

Hi Sir, I'm a 24 year old male facing hairfall problem since 3 years.. I take good diet and even i dont have hereditary hairfall issue, as my dad has very thick hair even at 62. Middle part of my hair got thinner, but worst thing is that I'm losing more hair on the front side and bald patches started to appear. My scalp gets oily by the end of the day and if i dont go for a head bath daily in the morning, i will lose more hair. To regain my hair, i try with hair oil massage every night..but that is when I lose maximum percentage of hair in the day. with this fear, from the past 6 months, i started using herbal shampoo. doesn't observe any difference. Fortunately, i don't have white hair. At this age, i cant afford for hair transplantation, please suggest me any solution by which i can regain my hair.
