Do I Have Chills And Stomach Ache Due To Constipation?

I have had a pretty bad stomach ache around the lower left side of my stomach and around to my back, so when I got home I thought maybe it was from constipation. I took a stool softener, but the pain did not go away. I have been peeing a lot and have some discomfort. I took a tramadol for the pain. I have gotten sick once before taking the meds and now after. I feel really shaky, like chills. Could this be from constipation or should I see a doctor?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi, thank you for posting.

First of all you need a physic examination. This procedure can be done by a general and family physician or by a gastroenterologist.

The benefit from this examination is the avoid of acute abdomen.

You also need:
Abdomen echo doppler.
Blood test(leukocytes).
Hepar function test, this will show liver function.
Urine test.

Medicine you are using(tramadol) isn't adequate for abdomen.

There is the possibility you suffer from Cholangitis(gall infection).
This infection cause chills.
