Dizziness While Swallowing. What Is Causing This?

Sometimes when swallowing and even when I take a sip of water, I get this dizzy fealing in my head like I'm floating away, away...then I just sit tight and held onto the table. This lasts for about 4-5 seconds and it feels if I am swallowing against something in my throat. Do you perhaps know what are causing this feeling. Thank you

With little information and as per the history you have given and the clinical findings you may be suffering with gastro oesophageal reflux. I usually prescribe H2 blockers like pentaprozole and domperidone combination. along with antaacid gel for a week and then review.
But still I would suggest you to consult the Specialist if you don’t get relief as on examination the findings may be different and line of treatment may have to be changed. Please don’t hesitate to consult and ask for any more query. i will be pleased to answer.
