Dizziness, Blackouts, Throbbing In Head, Migraines, Headaches. What Is Wrong?

I'm a 21 year old healthy female. Ever since I can remember I have had these odd dizzy spells, it can be while walking, sitting, shopping, or standing. I feel extrememly dizzy and every thing goes black and I feel like I'm am going to pass out. While and after this happens for about 8 seconds my brain starts shockingly throbbing. I have also had severe migranes and headaches since I can remember and nothing helps them. The migranes are many times a month and the dizzy black out throbbing is many times a day. What's wrong with me?

Hi, thank you for posting at Health Care Magic.

I understand your problem very well. Dizziness is a symptom caused by different diseases, one of these is migraine that you suffer from.
Other causes can be
-tiredness
-stress
-labyrinth disease(vestibulocochlear nerve)
-orthostatic hypotension(immediate stand up)-
-contusion cerebral
-meniere syndrome
-rarely acoustic neuroma(brain tumor).

To diagnose the real cause, except neurological examination you need
1. complete blood test.
2. Electroencephalogram(EEG).
3. MRI(magnetic resonance imaging). MRI is the exactest test.

To treat dizziness you need to relax and to improve your lifestyle.
Until you get the result of tests you should take Meclizine(Antivert) 25mg 1 or 2 pills a day, you should avoid your concentrated activity in daily life.

You should control your diet by eliminating chocolate, cheese, coffee, alcoholic drinks, citrus fruits, ice cream and fast foods.

Best wishes.
