Sounds like iron deficiency anemia symptoms to me...... Iron deficiency anemia will produce symptoms such as excessive feelings of being cold, fatigue and exhaustion, nasty nasty headaches, paleness of skin, dizzy and fainting spells, irritability and moodiness .... is she eating enough iron rich foods?? A good way to check if you have iron deficiency anemia is to look at the coloring of the inner lid of your bottom eyelid ........ pasty and white means that you are anemic, rich and red is healthy and not anemic Please ensure that you are also getting enough calcium, vitamin D (known as the sunshine vitamin) and vitamins B6 and B12 as all these are needed for the effective assimilation of iron in your body .......... the heart palpitations could possibly be from not getting enough vitamin B12...... chest pains and heart palpitations, excessive sweating, irritability and moodiness, fatigue and exhaustion, numbness and tingling and prickling sensations in the outer extremities are other symptoms of B12 deficiency .....take a multi B complex supplement containing all the B's ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6, B12 and folate etc.... as they all work best as a group.... don't buy any of the B complex of vitamins individually but rather as a whole group unless a nutritionally oriented physician or naturopath specifically tells you to do so. Or simply eat more foods rich in vitamin B12 ie ~ liver, beef, eggs, milk, cheese and fish. Drink loads of water to stay properly hydrated and ensure your body is running at peak levels too.... you need at least 2 - 3 litres of water daily. Get her to eat more foods rich in magnesium too as it is known as the antistress mineral and will help with mood swings, cramping, constipation ...... ie ~ leafy and green vegies, organic brown rice, organic nuts and seeds like almonds and sunflower seeds and wholegrain breads and cereals .......;0) take care of you ?
