Discomfort in ear while swallowing, sitting or standing, swinging neck. Cause?

Just recently I am experiencing some sort of uncomfortable pain in my left ear everytime I swallow , whilst sitting or standing normally it does feel that there might be something in there but its not discomforting at this stage. If I swing my neck to the right it feels its still there but when swinging my neck to the left it doesn t feel I have anything in my ear at all.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Pain ear while swallowing can be because of Eustachian tube dysfunction. The remedy can be mucolytics and nasal decongestants along with analgesics for few days. Please also get your dental examination done as dental problems can also cause such symptoms. If the symptoms persist, consult ENT specialist for ear examination plus tympanometry. Regards.
