Disc Ruptured. Neurosurgeon For Pain Management. Tore Bicep Tendon, detached In Shoulder Area. MRI Done. Suggestion?

Hello, my name is Jim. In 2003 I ruptured a disk between c-5 and c-6 my neurosurgeon told me back then that he was basically pain management and that one day it will get to the point where I would have to have surgery. Two years ago I had an accident where I tore my bicep tendon in 3 places including where it became detached in the shoulder area, a fractured collar bone and added damage to my neck that hasn't been treated as of yet . I have what feels like a triangle ( I would guess 6'x6'x6' ( of numb, needly, uncomfortableness from the base of my head to almost the middle of my back then shoots over to an area at the back of my left shoulder. (left shoulder is the one I had operated on a year and a half ago) I also have bone spurs on both shoulders. I just had my MRI results read back to me by my surgeon who suggested if it still hurts in a month come back and he will inject with something. He also suggested I sit on a phone book while I perform job duties. MY question is: where should I start? I'm in way too much pain to be put off.

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
You have multiple and chronic orthopedic injuries, with muscular involvement, chronic musculoskeletal injuries are difficult to treat, but expert orthopedic surgeon could do it, if consulted for opinion, if you became asymptomatic then go with pain management treatment only, have nice day.
