Difficulty To Pass Stools, Severe Pain. Is This Due To Taking Oxycodone For Wisdom Tooth Removal?
I can't poop. I have strong urges to go but yet nothing comes out. It feels as if something is blocking the exit. It's been two days now. This also happened two days ago and I took a rectal laxative but it didn't work till much later. When I did poop it took an IMMENSE effort to push the poop out and it was very, very painful. I had my wisdom teeth taken out recently and had to take oxycodon if that means anything. I stopped taking the medicine a day prior to the first incident.

Oxycodone is known to cause constipation in patients even who are on acute therapy. It decreases the motility of the intestines as well as its tone.
IF your constipation is severe , you have to rule out other conditions in your intestine that may have been aggravated by oxycodone.
