Difficulty in typing, writing simple words, concentrating. Had taken up a new job requiring multitasking. Is it worrisome?

for the past 3 days I have had difficulty typing and writing simple words and difficulty focusing at work. I this is new since I am a nurse and typically have to multitask. I know at this point I should see a neurologist but can I wait to make an appt or go to an ER? NO headaches or vomiting . Very concerned. 39 years old. BP normal.
