Dear friend, welcome to HCM !
I am worried if you are developing Ludwig's angina- a serious
soft tissue infection spreading rapidly in the oro-pharyngeal cavity and causing swelling, compromise of the airway causing
difficulty breathing.
Do not waste time visiting many doctors, go to the ER, get evaluated by an ENT specialist/ physician, Xray chest , CBC, throat swab culture/ sensitivity,
You will need broad spectrum antibiotics including anaerobic cover, a surgical consult if they confirm it to be a
cellulitis / Ludwig's/
abscess.
Sometimes surprising differentials appear.
I would advise urgent evaluation in a good high level hospital. If it is cellulitis, it can become life threatening.
If you could post a photo of your oral cavity and neck/ chin, it would greatly help to advise precisely. (Threre is an uploader on the site below the text box).
Take care and please keep me informed of your progress.
Good Luck !
