Difficult To Straighten Right Elbow When Bent For Some Time, 47 Yrs Old. What Is The Cause ?

I am having an issue with my right elbow and was wondering if you know any exercise that might relieve it cause i have found none that i have tried.. When i bend it and keep it bent for any lengh of time it is so stiff to straighten out and it hurt so much.. Is it worth going to the doctor or is it age. I am 47 years old

The way you had described that your elbow getting stiffer after keeping it bent for long time may be due to some form of wear and tear changes in elbow joint. I would advice you get opinion from local orthopaedic doctor who could examine you, prescribe an x ray and give you mild analgesics and gentle physiotherapy.
