Diet and foods which help improve memory

Hi doctor I would like to know how can I improve my 15 year old s memory? I was told that food containing omega 3 might help , if true plz tell me what tyopes of food? Thank you........

For your son's memory you can provide leafy vegetables, fish, peanut etc. But there are other training methods with which memory can be improved. After all body's ability increases with usage. Ask him and encourage him to use memory techniques more and more. Good luck.

Thanks for your Query.foods containing omega-3/6/9 clubbed with some brain exercise will help the child to improve his/her memory.

foods that are Rich in omega 3/6/9 are cod liver oil,flax seeds,avacado.

also add some antioxidants like SOD,raisins,curry leaves.

SOME HERBS Like BRAHMI,ginseng,VAYAMBHU will also meet your purpose.

Make him to do YOGA regularly.there are specific yoga postures like vrikshasana,veerabhadrasana/pranayams and meditation for the same.This will contribute to integrity of mind.also exercise brain through games puzzlebox.CHESS,etc.
