Diet Program

Gud Morning, i would like to switch myself to a total fat free food program, currently i'm taking usual Indian food. The diet program I'm searching for should contain vegetables and grains.....doesn't matter if the food is boiled or tasteless but want to retain the same nutritional value. in this regard, its been 2 years i quit eating rice and any sweet thing (even sugar). What i want to plan is heavy breakfast, moderate lunch and soup during night. please suggest me whether i'm on right track or not and suggest a diet program. I'm a male, 27 years, 5'11", 78 Kgs.

Hi
Well come to healthcaremagic,

As you mentioned your age, height and weight according to that your BMI is 24.1 which we will consider as normal But your ideal body weight should be between 65 to 70 kg.

Fat free Diet is not recommended for you. To proper function of the body we need fat, At least 20 to 25 grams of fat is needed. So am suggesting you low fat diet.

Avoid junk foods, chocolates, ice creams, sweets, carbonated beverages, alcohols, ghee, butter, Paneer, egg yolk.
Include: Salad, green leafy vegetables, Skimmed milk & curd, egg white, try to have more vegetables, fruits,

Exercise: Daily 30 minutes brisk walk. Some basic exercise like arm, abdominal exercise for 30 minutes. These will help to reduce your weight.
