Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

If your doctor suspects that there may be an infection of your appendix, it would be best to have it removed. Normally removing an infected appendix is a simple procedure that does not require prolonged hospital stay.
If the appendix ruptures then the possibility of complications increases.

The diarrhoea, vomiting and abdominal pain may or may not be related to the infected appendix but it would be best to be reassessed to make sure.

I hope this helps
