Diarrhea Or Constipation After Removing Gall Bladder, Change In Color Of Stool. Suggestions?

Hi Doc. I am 71= AND HAVE HAD MY gb REMOVED. in 1996 since then my bowels I have either Diarreah or constipation. either way they seem to change colors depending on what I ear, mostly dark green. I eat alot of green vegetables so the next few day after eating these, my stool is always dark in color. Is that a problem? Thank you.

hi.. gall bladder removal will lead to fat malabsorption.. will leads to fatty/frothy stools.. alternate constipation and diarrhea is due to fat malabsorption... change some dietary changes with fat restriction.. high protein diet..increased green leafy vegetables... multivitamin supplementation... increased fluid in take.. all the very best..
