Diarrhea after laprascopic hysterectomy. History of IBS. Any ideas?
Hi, I had laprascopic hysterectomy on Tuesday Oct. 9th. I have had diarrhea since Friday night. I saw my surgeon today as I left the hospital with a catheter as i was not urinating enough. They took catheter out and did stool test for c-diff. It came back negative. I also have history of IBS but no diarrhea episodes in years. Any ideas? Should I take immodium or nothing. BRAT diet still gives me diarrhea.

K may be some hospital acquired infn or some food poisoning ,just take a coarse of antibiotic tab ofni-oz bid for 5 days,tab bafilac hp bid gor 3 days,drink plenty of water ...yhis remedy may help u ...thank u
