Diagnosed With Vaginal Atrophy On Estrace Cream. How Long Estrace Cream Takes For Diagnosis?

I have been diagnosed with vaginal atrophy. On estrace cream small dose 3x a week. For one month. Then 2x a week for next month. Seems to be working. Definitely see a difference in moistness of vagina but still have to go to the bathroom frequently and feel the need to go almost all day. Do not have this at night which seems puzzling. How long does the estrace cream take to completely take away symptons. Thank u

Hi,
From history it seems that you are elderly lady and might have menopause.
During this time due to low estrogen can cause atrophic vaginitis.
Continue using Estorgen cream as advised by your Gynaec.
Other symptoms of having urinary tract problem might be due to vaginitis or even some bladder prolapse called Cestocele at this age due to lax pelvic floor muscles.
Consult your gynaec and get examined.
Ok and take care.
