Diagnosed with repetitive stress on upper back muscles, get burning during anxiety. Heart or circulation problem?

I work in a factory and have been diagnosed by my doctor with repetitive stress on my left upper back muscles.I,ve found that when I get anxious or agitated I have a burning sensation in that area. I m 55 but very active and eat healthy meals with no red meat.I walk 2 miles everyday and my weight is about the same as I had in high school. Could this be a heart or circulation problem?
