Diagnosed With Outpouch In Left Internal Cavernous Carotid Artery, Is It Safe To Jog. Could It Be Aneurysm ?

my 67 year old boyfriend has just been diagnosed thru an MRA with an outpouch in left internal cavernous carotoid artery , so not sure if it is an aneurysm or something else, something else was written about it being an indifibulum?? This is all new to me and not sure if it is located in the head or the neck He likes to jog, it is safe to jog? He has to get an MRI in a few days.
For many years he had problems with sinus and his main complaint is head is stuffy, feels congestion in the head, fullnesss and hissing in the ears and he has lost some hearing in his left ear. he experienced a bit of vertigo last night when he turned his head to the side really quickly and had to pull over on the road and took an antivert til it passed. Thanks for any comments you could pass on to me.

Otolaryngologist / ENT Specialist 's  Response
Your query say that an outpouch in left internal cavernous carotid artery-I feel its internal carotid artery. Please go through the MRA report carefully and let us know. We may be able to explain in detail. And also please let us know why he underwent a MRA? What was the indication and which doctor advised it?
Is there any associated problems like hypertension/Diabetes troubling him? All his complaints may be related to this left internal carotid artery. There will be some hearing loss at the age of 67 years. That's quite natural.
