Diagnosed with eczema, patchiness. Homeopathy. Will I be okay?

Hi i am 29 years old male, and I was diagnosed with eczema in my childhood. Since then i am going through medication for the same mostly i took the homeopathic treatment. It is been 8years now since i stopped the medicines for this as the symptoms were vanished. But after 2-3 years it arises time to time in small portion of my body parts like back of my hand, thighs but they disappear also without any medicines within ten to fifteen days.
But from last 3-4 months there is a patch appeared in my left calf muscle and its growing. What should i do now?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Eczema can reoccur during adulthood. In adults it would more commonly be seen in the back of the knees, front of the elbows and the neck.

The rash usually starts with itching followed by the appearance of a red bumpy rash. Persistent rubbing may result in thick plaques.
If this is the presentation of the rash you have then it is more likely eczema.
It may be best to visit your doctor for an evaluation before initiating any treatment.

IF it is an eczematous rash you need to : (1) keep your skin moist, this is key to the resolution of the rash. It is normally recommended that within 3 minutes of leaving the bath, moisturizing agents are applied.
They should be put on multiple times during the day

(2)you would need a prescription for steroid cream

(3) use simple soaps, detergents and other hygienic products

I hope this helps

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

There are 2 things
1- Rescue medicine - for the present event / if you were benefited by a particular system of medicine on a previous occasion, go for it again!
2- Prevention of recurrence / Prophylaxis - A battery of tests can be done by the dermatologist / for possible clues / and subsequent suggestion...See him when you are having the problem...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
