Diagnosed With Diabetes, Gastroparesis. Is Drinking Alcohol A Good Idea At This Point?

Hello..my wife was told 4 months ago that she has diabetes. They started her on metformin and told to eat better. She now was told she has Gastroparesis be cause of her constant stomach problems. My question is ..am I correct in telling her that drinking any alcohol..no matter how little...may not be a good idea at this point?

I can understand your concern and you are exactly right, it is not good to consume a alcohol when you are sick, particularly suffering from stomach disease alcohol can flair up the disease ask her to stop it, take god care of her and have nice day.
