Diagnosed With Bacterial Pneumonia. Orange Colored Nasal Mucus Discharge. What Is It?

ugh. i have been diagnosed with bacterial pneumonia and have been taking meds for it for the past 3 days. my lungs are starting to feel better but the sins thing i have going on is making me mental. i have JUST got my sense of smell coming back....which means i can taste food somewhat, though i don't want it. buuuuuut there's this pervasive god-awful smell i can't escape, and i'm now blowing orangey-thick mucous from one nostril. wtf?

Sounds like you had a good sinus infection....or maybe an anaerobic infection..usually they smell and taste really bad. What antibiotic were you on? Only certain antibiotics kill anaerobic bacteria.
