Diagnosed With Acromial Bursitis In Left Shoulder. Pins And Needles In Hand. Is This The Cause For Concern?
I have been diagnosed with acromial bursitis in my left shoulder. But the symptoms I explained to the doc do not relate to what I am having.
Namely, pins and heedless down left forearm to hand and fingers and numbness. Also pain which gets worse at night. Had it for about 3 - 4 months I have had an ultrasound and this is what she said is wrong. (Tendonitis)
The ultrasound reports suggest that you have Tendonitis which is inflammation of the tendon in shoulder joint. Due to this, the nerves are also affected, resulting in the symptoms as mentioned in your post. As the tendonitis gets treated, your symptoms will subside. Till then, you can take analgesic-anti inflammatory agents & nervigenic agents like Vit B12, B6 & Folic acid. Physiotherapy exercise will also be helpful.
Wishing you a good health. Take care.
