Diagnosed With Pleural Effusion In Lung. Prescribed Clindamycin And Cefpodoxine. Have Loose Stool. Suggestions?

I am a 25 years old male. I was recently diagnosed with pleural effusion in lower left side of lung(about 5 ml localized pleural fluid) through x-ray and USG.My physician prescribed me clindamycin and cefpodoxime for a week.Now i have completed the dose and i am having mucus mixed stool with some dark brown type of very loose stool 3-4 times a day.Please help me.

Sounds like you may have c. diff colitis....it's an infectious diarrhea one can get after taking clinda. You need to call you doctor and get a prescription for Flagyl to treat the infectious diarrhea.
