Diagnosed with POF. Menstrual pain. What happened to follicles?
3 months ago i was diangnosed with pof at the age of 38, fsh 118 and no ovary functions at all. i tried to go for acupunture treatments and two weeks ago i had strong menstrual pain went to check it and was told that i have two follicles one 15 mm and one 14 mm, the pains continued and today i went again and the doctor found again a follicle of 15 mm, 1. what happened to my follicles from two weeks ago and is it possible i did not ovulate then? 2..does it mean that i just have follicles but no ovulation? 3. is it possible to ovulate twice a month? 4. can i be pregnant now and have follicle same time?

possible explanation to more than one follicle in aan ovary with similar big size is a condition called PCOS.
but the diagnosis of POF that was made must not be correct then
having a follicle without ovulation is possible in PCOS
you may ovulate twice a month or two ova can get released in a single cycle in some women rarely
if you are pregnant , after ovulation the site of follicle will have corpus luteum not a follicle
plz answer these if u can
age?
children?
prior cycles if regular or not?
any hormonal or non hormonal medicines taken?
oher findings in ur scan?
