Diagnosed With MS. Have Spinal And Brain Lesions. Are Lymes Disease And Ms Two Separate Issues?
I have been diagnosed with MS 4 monthes ago. I have a spinal lesion as well as brain lesions. One brain lesion resembles Dawson fingers. My husband has just watched a video talking about how Lymes disease can mimic and cause MS. Can you help me explain and am I wrong in telling him these are two seperate issues and he will not catch my MS and there is alot of junk science out there.
Lymes disease is an infection disease that is transmitted by the bite of infected ticks. The microbe is called Borrelia. Lymes syndrome affect neural system, joints and skin. When this disease affect neural system the symptoms of this disease the same as multiple sclerosis(MS). It is thought that MS is an hereditary disease.
The treatment of MS and Lymes is different. You should use antibiotic to treat lymes in first phases.
Take Care.
