Diagnosed With HG2. Want Insight To HG And Cervical Cancer

Good morning doctor - my daughter aged 33 has been going to the JHB GEN (most appaling place) she was diagonised with HG2 apparently just before it goes into a cancerous stage - she now has to first go for a inter scan to check out the ovaries - only then will they perform a operation to remove the womb & ovaries - is there a place in JHB that will perform this operation other than the JHB GEN - not very confident with the results of yesterday - can you give me some insight as to HG & cervical cancer

Hello, I would be happy to help you with your question.

I am assuming that HG2 means "high grade-2" but I am not sure. I would like to help you because if she does not actually have cancer yet, then she probably does not need a hysterectomy. Please clarify exactly what her history is and what HG2 stands for and I will help. Please choose the Premium Question button and state "this is for Dr. Raichle". Thank you.

I hope that this helps and good luck!
