Diagnosed For PTB. X-ray Shows Cavitary Lesion Is No Longer Seen. Advice?

hi doc.. my son had been diagnosed of PTB. he started taking medicines last january. his follow up chest xray shows a slight regression and i just had him xrayed again for final result of his treat ment. It goes like this. FOLLOW UP XRAY SHOWS FURTHER CLEARING OF THE... AND THE CAVITARY LESION IS NO LONGER SEEN ... MAY I ASK what does this mean? Hope u can help me ... tnx

Hello,
Your son has Pulmonary TB.
You should start Anti-Tb treatment by consulting with nearest Physician.
It is mostly 6 months course which will cure Him.

He is improving.Don't get panic.
