Diagnosed As Epileptic, Has Febrile Convulsions. Taken Sodium Valporate. Suggest?

my 4 year old grandaughter has not been diagnosed as epileptic , but because she has had quite a lot of febrile convusions has been started on 200mgs a day of sodium valporate given in 100mg icrements twice a day. the problem is she has become extremely hyperactive and quite unmanagble and is not sleeping well at night.

She might be suffering from ADHD ( psychiatric disorder ) but its too early to conclude anything , sodium valproate is also used as mood stabilizer other than epilepy .
consult a local psychiatrist for more detail evaluation
