Diabetic suffering from tingling in the hand. Why is it happening?

Hello; I am a diabetic-type 1 and lately i have been suffering with tingling in my left hand,throbbing and burning sensations at mostly night time when I sleep.I just had an EMG done last week I go for the doctor to tell meof the results, But I think he is going to tell me bad news, If so what can I do to relieve the pain that I am having?

Thanks for posting your query.
Diabetes is a multi organ disease with involvement of almost all organs of body due to its complications.
Blood sugar both fasting and postprandial must be in controlled range.
Diabetes is due to progressive loss or destruction of beta cells in endocrinal part of pancreas.
In type I diabetes, beta cells in pancreas is almost destroyed with no production of insulin.
A patient with type I diabetes has to take insulin therapy for control of blood sugar.
There could also be possibility of diabetic neuropathy and you should also take epalrestat, methylcobalamin, and pregabalin/ gabapentin.
You should protect your legs from getting any type of injury.
Try to keep your sugar control.
