Diabetic. Have Pain All Over Body, Face Is Red Across Cheeks And Nose, Hands And Feet Are Swollen. Have 4 Stints. Underlying Cause?

My dad is 69 years old is a diabetic and is experiencing severe pain all over his body. The pain is so bad he just sits and rocks. His face is very red across his cheeks and nose. The pain started in his chest and arm, and now he hurts all over. His hands and feet are very swollen. Also he has a rash around his ankles. He has never had a heart attack but does have 4 stints from blockages. What could cause such pain suddenly.

Dear sir

Did yo6 start any new drugs for diabetes like statins or other anti diabetes drugs.. if you had started statins itnwould cause the same effectsnas you mentioned. ?

Secondly review your sugar level once..if it is uncontrolled then you would get the same pain..

Thanks
