Hello,

Tradjenta(Linagliptin) is an Oral hypoglycemic agent belonging to DPP-4 inhibitor.

The weight gain and blurring of vision may be due to hypoglycemia(Low blood sugar) which is one of the side effects of Linagliptin.

To prevent this you may need to adjust the dose of the drug by monitoring your blood sugar.
Take food at regular intervals.
Exercise and physical activities may to be in correlation to the medication and diet.

Consult your doctor in this regard.
