Diabetes. Night Sweats, Weakness, Funny Sensation In Chest. What Is The Problem?

M husband has bad night swats (soaks the pillow). While shopping he started to feel real weak and began sweating from the neck and forhead. He said he felt like he was going to fall down. He has had trouble going to the bathroom lately...also felt a funny feeling in his chest. This has happened 3-4 times...feels weak...has never felt that way before.

He has diabetes and is 77.

Can you tell me what you think the problem is?

Hello,
Uncontrolled diabetes for many years results in damage to almost all the organs of body. One of the most common complication is involvement of cardiovascular system.
Your symptoms suggest that you may be having coronary insufficiency and so you require to consult a cardiologist for detailed cardiac check up and investigations like TMT and coronary angiogram.
Thanks
