Developed Unusual Hoarseness After Starting Spiriva For COPD. Could This Be The Reason ?
I have developed unusual hoarseness. It began a couple of months after I started using Spiriva for COPD. My voice sounded a little strange, but now it is so bad I had to quit singing in church choir (have done that all my adult life) and keep conversations to a minimum. ENT spec said my vocal cords are "stressed" he didn't see any polyps or ulcers or anything out of place. Could the medication have caused this? I sound worse than a teenaged boy entering puberty and sometimes can't even be heard. Sounds break up in middle of words. How long would it take to resolve if I switched to a different medication (already use Advair 250/50)?
yes the medicine can do this the allergic reaxtion to med has same effects it also can cause gastritis with more voice problems get consultation with allergy doctor and treat the allergies produced by this medicine and get changed to other salts
