Detected Something During Smear Test Due To Pelvic Pain, Bleeding Between Periods, Painful Intercourse. Referred To Hospital. Any Ideas?

I went for smear test because of pelvic pain, bleeding between periods, painful intercourse and my doctor noticed something (I don't know what) even before taking swab, I have been referred to hospital but was wondering if you might be able to advise me on what you think it could be, I know you can't possibly diagnose me but any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,
Thanks for choosing HCM
No need to panic, its difficult to say what she might have noticed since you have not mentioned your age so may not be anything. Some possibilities are ther like an ulcer, or a small growth. She might have also sent you for further referral. So dont worry.
Hope this helps you.
Take care
