Hello, and i hope I can help you today.
When I usually prescribe medication like Deviry to bring on a menstrual cycle, the dose i usually prescribe is 10 milligrams for 7 days. The dose you took may have been too high for you, or too short a time period.... or...
Did you do a
pregnancy recently? That could be another reason why the Deviry didn't work. Don't worry, the hormone in Deviry in another form is used to prevent
miscarriage and therefore is safe if you did get pregnant.
So I would do a preganacy test if you haven't already, and if you are not pregnant, I would recommend you discuss with your doctor an alternate dose of the Deviry for you, or consider a
fertility medication, which also can make you ovulate and get a period. I would especially recommend this if you have been trying to get pregnant for more than a year.
Also, if you are
overweight, low-
carbohydrate diet and moderate exercise 30 minutes 3 days weekly can help improve ovulation.
I hope I was able to adequately answer your question, and that my advice was helpful.
Best wishes, Dr. Brown
