Description Of A Sexually Abused Vagina Of A Child, Being Touched With Wrong Intentions
Hi Docter , I was hoping you could help me by telling me how a 6 yr olds vagina would look like if being sexually abused . My niece has been saying that she is being touched and all that , last time i saw her i checked her vagina and it was red and a bit swollen. I want to have some sort of idea so that I cab then to the actions that need to be made. Thank you so much for your time.

Do you mean the vagina or the vulva?Vulva is the outer portion of the female sexual part which is visible to us.the vulva can look normal even if she was sexually abused.If intercourse had happened the vaginal opening will have the hymen torn,little bit of bleeding(if recent intercourse),soreness in vagina and vulva.If the vulva is swollen it means the child is is definitely mishandled.Please heed to the child's words and protect her or else she might slip into depression or have all sorts of private part infections
