Depression, Dullness, Gloominess. Taking Codopa. Taking Pacitane. Should I Continue?

My wife taking pacitane 1 tablet three times a day. She feels depressed, gloomy and dull looks. She is also taking codopa 110mg 1/2 tablet three times a day. She is not feeling good in daily life. Doctor suspects early parkinson. Though genetically she does not have any instance. May I request you to suggest whether she should continue this medicine.

Hi

Parkinson's disease is diagnosed clinically by a doctor. There are no specific tests to prove that a patient has Parkinson's disease or not. Both the medicines that you have mentioned are used to manage Parkin's Disease. If your wife has already started taking the medicine, then you may observe for signs of improvement. If she is improving then you may continue the medicine. If she is not improving even on codopa, then she probably has something else.
