Delivered A Healthy Baby And Died After Turning Cold With Bluish Nails. What Could Have Happened?
My elder sister died nearly 10hrs after her c-sec. She had no complications during her pregnancy. The baby was also a healthy one. But all of a sudden she turned cold with bluish nails and died. What could have happened with her? I really want to know.

There is possibility of embolism.
Sometimes amniotic fluid embolism can develop.
After delivery, some of the amniotic fluid can be sucked by the opened blood vessels in the uterus.
That can disturb the circulation and can lead to coagulatory problems.
Presence of blood clots also can lead to embolism sometimes.
These can lead to cardio respiratory arrest and that can lead to death sometimes.
Though very rare, this is one serious problem that can be encountered after delivery.
