Delayed Periods, Positive Pregnancy Test. History Of Abortion. Safe To Conceive?

hello... i am 28 years and married for 6 years and i had a aborted once and till 5 years i dint concieve and i had done my hsg test on decemeber 8th 2013 and my menstrual period was on december 1st and till now i have not got my period and the pregnancy test result has turned positive is it safe to get pregnant this monthe please advise

hello,
You are suffering from secondary infertility following abortion and now presents with delayed period for more than 10 days of due date. You also get positive pregnancy test.
It is safe to conceive and there is no relation with previous abortion,occurred 5 yrs ago. Do following things like Continue folic acid supplements, protein rich diet, avoid long journey/heavy work, maintain personal hygiene, take adequate rest and do a USG scan after 4wks for detailed feto-placental well being. Do periodic check up and suggestive investigations.
