Delayed Periods, Cramps And Lower Back Pain, Sore Itchy Breasts. On Clomifene. Brownish Spotting. Pregnant Or Medication Side Effect?

Hi I'm on my 5th month on clomifene. I was due on my period 10th may Iv had cramps and lower back pains and my breast are sore and itchy. I had a negative pregnancy test on 10th morning. On the 11th I started spotting brown in colour, during the night I had a little brown almost black blood. Went for a morning pee and passed big black clots. I have been spotting all day nothing on my pad just when I wipe myself? Am I pregnant or a bad reaction to clomifene?

Hi, welcome to healthcare majic.
If the pregnancy test you've done was a urine home test, please repeat the test by a blood sample in the lab. If the test is negative (my expectation), so you may consider it a reaction to clomifene as you suggest. If the test comes positive (remote possibility), you should go immediately to your doctor to have a transvaginal ultrasound in order to exclude the possibility of ectopic pregnancy.
I wish you good luck and a healthy pregnancy soon.
Dr. Ahmed Bahaa.
