Delayed Periods After Taking Contraceptive Pill. Help
Hey, I am bit confused related to my girlfriend's periods... we had last sex on 30th april with protection still we had doubt so she took unwanted 72 emergency contraceptive pill after that she got her periods on 8th may till 12th may... I was yet not satisfied so I asked her to take a home pregnancy test on 4th june she used velocit eazy n it showed not pregnant it was a bit relieving but still I was scared that its only 99% accurate so we waited for few days n again today morning which is 9th june she had 2nd test n again its showing not pregnant but den she must come in periods by 8th or 9th max thats todays date as she might hve irregular cycle but still she doesnt hve her periods... its the 2nd period after contraceptive pill which is delayed... can you please help me on this...

hi.. delayed periods after taking hormones is common, especially after taking emergency contraception the periods will be delayed. since UPT is negative, you can relax.. if still in doubt get serum HCG levels which is conclusive... see your obstetrician in any case.. all the best.
