Delayed Periods. On Diana For PCOD. Prescribed Meprate. Possible Time Of Periods?

i have a problem of PCOD for which i hv been taking diana but i didn't take diana for the past 3 months and i got my periods naturally in past two months but there is a delay in third month so my doctor advised me to take meprate 10 mg for 5 days so i want to ask dat wen i m getting my period as i facing a weight isssue

thanks for your query.
PCOD does not have a proper cure per se.
it is characterized by hormonal imbalance - due to this there are multiple small follicles throughout the ovary, and none of them succeed in forming a dominant follicle which ovulates.
Hence, there is irregularity in menstruation and ovulation.
Metformin might help to control symptoms.
Weight gain is a must to have partial relief.
after taking meprate for 5 days, you will have withdrawal bleeding within 2 - 3 days, and definitely within a week at the most.
